Shoreham-by-Sea Cricket Club is proud to be fully inclusive. All teams, adult and junior, welcome new players at any time of year.
No experience or equipment required. Just come along and get involved!

Adult Cricket

First XI – The Swingers – Slam Cup (Mid-week T20)

Our flagship mid-week T20 team competing in the Sussex Slam Cup. The Swingers bring together experienced players who play competitively while maintaining a friendly and welcoming approach to the game.

Second XI – The Out-Swingers – Slam Shield (Mid-week T20)

Competing in the Sussex Slam Shield, The Out-Swingers are made up of players returning to cricket after time away. With a balance of experience and renewed enthusiasm, this team offers a great environment for getting back into competitive cricket.

Third XI – The Casuals – Slam Trophy (Mid-week T20)

The Casuals take part in the Sussex Slam Trophy and provide an accessible space for newcomers or returning players. With a focus on fun, learning, and participation, this team is perfect for anyone looking to enjoy cricket in a relaxed setting.

Sunday XI

Our Sunday XI is an inclusive side welcoming players of all ages and experience levels. Focused on enjoyment and community, they play home and away friendly fixtures throughout the summer and also head off on an annual cricket tour.

The Seabirds – Ladies Team

The Seabirds are a warm, friendly, and energetic ladies team who play soft-ball cricket year-round. They take part in both indoor and outdoor leagues as well as friendly matches. No previous experience or equipment is needed—just enthusiasm and a willingness to get involved.

Junior Section

All Stars (Ages 5–8)

A fun and energetic introduction to cricket, helping young children learn the basics through games, movement, and teamwork.

Dynamos (Ages 9–11) – Mixed & Girls Only

We offer four mixed Dynamos groups and one girls-only group. These sessions build confidence and cricketing skills in a fun, inclusive environment.

Under 11 (Hardball)

Our U11 hardball team competes in home and away fixtures throughout the summer and trains year-round. A great first step into competitive hardball cricket.

Under 12 (Hardball)

The U12 team plays hardball cricket during the summer and continues training throughout the year, helping players develop their technique and match awareness.

Girls U11–U13 (Soft & Hardball)

A combined girls team open to all abilities, offering both soft-ball and hardball cricket. This squad provides a supportive pathway for players as they develop skills and confidence.
